Course Summary:

The Safe Working Near Water (SWNW) course combines classroom learning with practical training for those working within three metres of the water’s edge. Learners develop skills in risk assessment, emergency planning, lifejacket use, self-rescue, throwbag techniques, and enter the water to practise essential safety skills in a controlled environment.

Assessment Methods:

Continual assessment throughout the course. All learners must participate in all theoretical and practical sessions.

Certification:

Successful learners will receive a Rescue 3 Europe accredited Safe Working Near Water certificate which is valid for 3 years.

Accreditation:
